Dr. Ariel Palanca has over 10 years of experience as a dual fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. While she treats all body parts, she specializes in fracture care and lower extremity injuries and deformities. She works and served as the Chief of Surgery at Palomar Health Medical Center.
Dr. Ariel Palanca has over 10 years of experience as a dual fellowship trained board-certified Orthopaedic surgeon. After graduating with honors from University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Palanca completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency program at Stanford University Medical Center, followed by a Foot and Ankle Fellowship with Dr. Roger Mann in Oakland, California and a Trauma Fellowship at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia.
Dr. Palanca specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including bunion repair, ankle arthroplasty, ankle arthroscopy, Achilles tendon repair, ligamentous injuries, fracture care, and deformity correction.
In addition to her main practice, Dr. Palanca participates in global humanitarian aid annually around the world.
